We provide extensive vehicle maintenance, car servicing, restoration work and engine rebuilding for all makes and models of classic and vintage cars from their workshop in Ashburton. They are a locally owned and operated, well-respected workshop, looking for their next Motor Mechanic.

We offer a great team environment with a huge variety of work in their workshop which is large, bright, clean, and very well equipped.

You will hold either a current qualification or have a proven background in mechanics, with the ability to repair and restore as opposed to replacing parts. We are looking for someone who knows their stuff, enjoys being busy, can organise themselves, has a high standard of workmanship and likes job satisfaction.  

This role is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm and offers a competitive hourly rate. The successful applicant will need to supply their own basic tools, everything else is supplied in their well-equipped workshop. A weekly tool allowance is included along with pre-arranged personal use of the workshop out of hours and in-house staff discounts on parts.

Specialised Automotive Technician

Have you ever wanted to work with elite motor vehicles in a purpose-built workshop? Are you a qualified automotive technician or have a proven background in mechanics? Do you enjoy working on a diverse range of European Vehicles?

We are a well renowned and established company and are looking for an automotive technician to join our specialised team in Ashburton. We are well known for our servicing of elite motor vehicles and no two jobs will be the same. You will hold either a current qualification or have a proven background in mechanics, with experience in electronic systems, diagnostic scanning equipment and be able to carry out all mechanical repairs unsupervised. The latest in diagnostic and re-coding equipment is used and up to date training is supplied.

The successful applicants will require:

  • Qualification in automotive mechanics or a background in mechanics
  • Diagnostic, mechanical, electric and hydraulic knowledge
  • Passion for classic and modern luxury vehicles
  • Good customer service skills
  • A broad skill base across servicing and repairing
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Quality workmanship, neat and tidy


This role is a full-time position offering huge opportunity to be working in a modern and clean environment on both classic and modern vehicles. Full ongoing training will be provided for the successful applicant.
